Studio Grid
Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
Use our tools, keep everything you make with them, and pay for the paid ones by subscription — cancel anytime. Extensions and Mac apps are licensed for your own use, so please don't resell or rip them off. Everything's provided as-is.
Agreeing to these terms
These terms are the agreement between you and Studio Grid for using our website and products. By visiting the site, joining a waitlist, or installing and using one of our tools, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the products.
What Studio Grid offers
Studio Grid makes focused tools for designers and site-builders — Chrome extensions and Mac apps in the "Studio" family. Some are free, some are paid, and some are still in development. What each product does, and what it costs, is described on its own page or store listing.
Your licence to use them
- Chrome extensions and Mac apps are licensed, not sold. While your subscription or free plan is active, you get a personal, non-transferable licence to use the software. Please don't resell it, redistribute it, or try to reverse-engineer or work around the parts that make a paid plan paid.
Accounts and eligibility
Some products need an account or a licence key. Keep your login and keys secure — you're responsible for what happens under them. You need to be able to enter a binding agreement to buy a paid plan.
Paid plans and billing
Paid products are subscriptions, billed on the schedule shown at checkout (usually yearly). They renew automatically so your access doesn't lapse, until you cancel. You can cancel anytime — your plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be billed again. If prices change, we'll let existing subscribers know before it affects them.
Refunds
Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy — in short, paid apps come with a free trial so you can decide before you pay, and we'll make it right if something is broken or you were charged by mistake.
Who handles payments
Purchases are processed by LemonSqueezy, Stripe, or ExtensionPay, depending on the product. They act as merchant of record and handle your payment details under their own terms. Studio Grid only receives confirmation that a purchase was made.
Using the products responsibly
- Don't use them to break the law or infringe someone else's rights.
- Don't try to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to our services.
- Don't use our code or content to build a competing paid product.
Your content stays yours
Anything you create, upload, or organise with our tools — your media, designs, palettes, notes, and data — belongs to you. We don't claim ownership of it, and our plugins and apps keep your data in your own site, browser, or device unless a feature you turn on says otherwise.
Our intellectual property
The Studio Grid name, logo, branding, website, and software are ours. Using a product doesn't transfer those rights to you.
Third-party services
Some features connect to services you choose — cloud storage you link, browser stores, or payment processors. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and Studio Grid isn't responsible for how they operate.
No warranties
We build these tools carefully and use them ourselves, but they're provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We can't guarantee they'll be error-free, uninterrupted, or right for every situation.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Studio Grid isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the products. Where liability can't be excluded, it's limited to the amount you paid us for the product in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending access
You can stop using the products and cancel a paid plan at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the products after that means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of Ontario, Canada.
